Biography (racing experience):

BJ started his racing career in 1998 in the Enduro Class and competed in this class until 2000. BJ moved to the IMCA Modified class in 2001 finishing 2nd overall in 2003 & 2004. In 2005 he was thrilled to capture the championship & set the track record. BJ had a very successful & exciting season in 2007 as the battle for the title was one of the closest ever which came down to the final event with BJ finishing 2nd overall both in Hythe & Canada. 2008 was one of BJ's most memorable seasons as he was once again able to capture the Hythe Championship & finished 3rd overall in Canada. Thanks to Trevor Boys, BJ was given an amazing opportunity to wrap up the season by competing at the Fall Classic in Las Vegas. 2009 & 2010 had some ups and downs as they tried to figure out the new car but were happy with the results and finished 3rd overall both seasons. 2010 saw an exciting end to the season as he was the overall winner at the 2nd Annual Napa Auto Parts IMCA Super National Event in Hythe. One of his proudest moments was having his daughter join the ranks of the Clark Motor Sports Team as she began her racing career in 2010 and enjoys sharing this journey with her every season. 2011 BJ was excited to recapture the Hythe Championship but 2012 & 2013 saw its challenges. The highlight of the 2013 season was winning the Roy Ross Memorial at EIR. BJ regained momentum in 2014 finishing 2nd overall & setting quick time for the season. 2015 was a very successful season finishing 2nd overall in Hythe & 3rd overall in the Canadian Series. One of the highlights of his season was winning the Roy Ross Memorial which is an event very near & dear to his heart & he also captured the hard charger award at that event held at EIR. BJ had a very exciting and competitive 2016 season and competed a full season in Hythe & at EIR. BJ ended the season on a high note winning the IMCA Super Nationals Championship & the Hythe Motor Speedway Championship. After taking the 2017 season off BJ was looking forward to returning to the track for the 2018 season and it was a very exciting & competitive season and he finished off the season 2nd overall in the Super Nationals Event and captured the 2018 Hythe Motor Speedway Championship. He would like to wish all his competitors good luck in the 2019 season. He would also like to thank his family, the sponsors, volunteers for all their support.
